The reason I started this blog and newsletter was to help more small businesses, freelancers, and consultants love what they do. I wanted to give them the knowledge they needed to create more margin, financially and emotionally. To be happy as business owners, confident in their abilities and worth, and having time for all the other things that matter in life.
It was clear to me that what separated the wildly successful consultants and freelancers from those who were scraping by was found where pricing, marketing, client relationships, and positioning intersect. But the information I found on those topics was often generic and sometimes academic.
I decided to do something about that. I set out to make those ideas relevant and actionable. To make them useful to someone who doesn’t have much time for theory and can only spend an hour now and then. The blog was born.
